One of my friends brought a crashed disk ( non working but recognized by BIOS ) into my lab for data rescue.

Never did such a thing before, but my theory to screw it a bit and then mount it with knoppix and then rescue the data did well in practice.

I saved her 12.3G of data ( pictures, music, docs, invoices,... ) on DVDs.

I feel quite nice :)
