Lately i see that there is a lot of skins getting approved that are only versions of others, basically that is very little change and a new name..
Personally I don't like this since it means that as long as your skin is in the parameters of hi5 skins it will get accepted, undermining CREATIVITY and ORIGINALITY.

It is very bad indeed. hi5 crews are not doing their jobs, as i see... Creativity will be undermined, and if not, at least will make real artists like you, ☆DJ☯XXX☆ More X 4 ur Dollar, and Miguel Ángel, not to work so hard on something that will be stolen, copied or whatever...

Not to talk about other sites stealing Hi5 skins and claiming them theyr work...
Someone is not doing what they are suppose to do. I know they get thousands of skin submissions, but one can only say they do something if they have the means for it. If i have a restaurant for 40 people, i can not serve dinners for 60...
I think you understand what i want to say... Hi5 should not want to be more that it is, at least while things don't get better in this matter, that is of great importance...

I think this is a very big problem, surrounding the skin creation process. I actually have a Refubrished version, to call it something, of one of my skins: Brokwn Hearts Wall and Blue Hearts Wall. I tried to make them both as different as i could, But keeping in mind, the request of many ppl that i should've made that skin in blue, in the first place. I see skin maker such as Markituh, and many more, making remakes of its skins EVERYSINGLE DAY skins get accepted, being this Monday, Wednesday or Friday. So NO WONDER, they have like 20 or more skins accepted, they are one in the same.

I'm not saying, that markituh and ppl who dedicated themselves to remake their skins are not talented, they are, the problem does not rely on the designers, the problem relies on the hi5 skins crew. The bar needs to be elevated, and by this i mean, ORIGINALITY should be considered when accepting a skin. I have said this A LONG TIME A GO.

I see what you mean GAD. Some designers make the same skin in different colors. Personally I hate recolors. I make my skins as unique as all the others I made. They're not supposed to look the same. I only have 3 approved skins and they're totally different from each other.

I think hi5 should reject skins that look very similar to other skins.

Hey guys, I have been noticing this too. Usually skins with too many similarities will be rejected, but it seems a few have gotten through. We'll ask the artists to vary the skins more for future submissions. Thanks for bringing this to attention!
