Comments are another way of generating links
1. Use www.blogsearch.google.com + keywords - will return only blogs.
Find blogs with high authority and activity (i.e. other comments)
2. Use Google News Alerts. (http://www.google.com/alerts) - select blogs, as it
happens, create 5 different keyword searches – to have Google feed you news as
it happens on other blogs.
Respond by commenting on that blog as soon as possible - be among the first
because other visitors will see your comments and follow your link.
Put comments on your own blog – will be current and relevant to the new event.
Comments are an integral part of the blogging community process.
Leave direct link to your site within your comment - or trackback.
. Locate 5-10 active blogs in your subject area to develop relationships with.
www.feedburner.com - will give you all stats of feeds.
When you get 1000 feed subscribers use the feedburner icon code to show off on
your blog. Makes visitors more comfortable to subscribe i.e. they are going
with the crowd.
When you comment - you must have an opinion. Soft, cuddly comment is of no use
- boring.
Do it every day - maybe 30 mins. Use cPanel raw data to see which blogs are
sending most traffic.
When you find a blog sending >25 visitors/day – create and adtracker to use in
your comments on that blog to see what visitors who follow the link to your site
are doing when they arrive.
When you find you are generating traffic from another blog - What are you doing
on that blog? Can you repeat that success on other blogs?
If you are getting no response then stop – don’t waste your time.
Commenting on active blogs is one of fastest ways of generating traffic. Active
blog has adsense, product offers etc. - you want to be part of that activity.
If you find your commenting strategy is not effective then:
Blogs you are commenting on are not active enough.
Your comments are not compelling.
