About Me
|
A humble, talented Rasta yute outa Kingston, who is somewhat accomplished in the graphic design/visual communication world (Principal: Advantedge Design Studios; Tuntid! Threadz).
There is, however, much more about to emerge from the mind & hands of this (B.A, Hons) graduate of Edna Manley College For the Visual Arts. Currently working on a DIFFRANT! line of tshirts (which will ultimately become a complete clothing brand), to hit the local market soon. The BRANDNAME - "TUNTID!" - Yes, - "TUNTID!" - Jamaican for "stunned", dizzy, spinning, etc - "TUNTID!". The concept is actually a "spin" on the word "TUNTID!" - to define a new outlook on one's approach to life - a philosophy which proves one's potential & possibilities limitless, shedding all learned constraints. Look for it Soon! MMMaddd Bad!, if I may so say Iself.
Also dabble in writing - social commentary, poetry, lyrics, having roughly a dozen simultaneous projects at the moment - reggae & dancehall.
Working on three inventions - one being much further along the way than the others - something that will impact the electronic world. Wait til yuh seeit! Selassie I Know!
Bird (girl) watching, Pool, Chess, Music, Basketball, Swimming (at the beach) & Trivia are my other vices. A good book n a good "draw" are also good friends.
That's me - just a simple, likkle JahBlessed Rasta King.

Yes!!! It's been a long time coming, and finally, CHANGE HAS COME!!!. There are many lessons to be learned from the President-Elect's trip to the White House, not the least of which, of course, is that we all can achieve whatever we dedicate our time, hearts & minds to. As an active proponent of black-empowerment & general personal improvement, I took something else from Barack Obama's journey. In the face of endless personal & professional "below-the-belt attacks, tactless smear campaigns & downright dirty poly-tricks, Mr Obama maintained an almost godly composure, even managing to smile at his accusers, leaving them baffled by his calm response & the ease and eloquence with which he dispelled each attack. The moral of this, basically, is that we are not responsible for the way people act or the things they say. We are, however, in control of our own responses - OUR words and actions. In life, there are no free meals. It's no excuse to behave badly simply because someone else is picking up the tab. Show Love , even in the face of adversity!!! Boom!
