Normally, after a church service, my friends and I always go out to have lunch together at a shopping mall, but yesterday we did not. We went to a noodle shop named “Lee” near the Klongtoei fresh market at Rama 4. I was dragged into the shop by the majority vote of our group. Even though it was my friend’s birthday, she offered to pay for lunch for us. I was a bit tired, so I did not enjoy my noodle bowl. The free lunch was little help to cheer up my feeling about a restaurant that I really did not want to visit.
Moreover, the friend who had the birthday wanted to eat ice cream later at Swensen’s, but not many of us wanted to go. Still, it was my turn to cheer up her, so I suggested we go for desert.
In the end, we had eight people together in our group. After not too long, we moved to Central World Plaza and found ourselves having fun choosing ice cream flavours and toppings.
We were very happy for our friend’s birthday celebration at the ice cream shop. In my opinion, a person’s birthday is a very special day. On that day, my friend always talked, talked, talked and wanted to share about every topic.
