Hello, I guess I should write something here…. Most likely if I am here I am also far from home, somewhere on the North Pacific or on the Asia coast. I work on a cargo ship in the Pacific trade to Los Angeles and San Francisco. I love my job…most of the time, but mother nature can throw its might my way and make things miserable. As I write this I am tracking two typhoons heading towards Japan and will be there about the same time as my ship . I live (when not at sea) in Northern California where wine country meets the redwoods and a short drive from the tallest tree in the world…cool huh! I love where I live… a place great for hiking, boating, motorcycling and much more. Say Hi to a lonely sailor at sea…
